Rogers family plans are priced per line, and the price of each added line drops. With Rogers Internet or TV, your own phone and Auto-Pay, two lines start at about $110 a month on 5G+ Essentials, and five lines cost about $225. Popular, with unlimited high-speed data, runs $140 for two lines and $300 for five. Below you will find every price from 2 to 5 lines, what "data share" does and does not mean at Rogers, and how to keep your bill down.
Searches for Rogers family plan, Rogers family plan data share and Rogers add a line usually come from the same question: what will my household actually pay? The honest answer depends on three things the plan page makes easy to miss: whether you have Rogers Internet or TV, whether you bring your own phone, and whether you enrol in Auto-Pay. This guide works through each one with the latest prices listed on Rogers.com.
Quick answer: Rogers family plan prices for 2 to 5 lines
- 2 lines: about $110 (Essentials), $140 (Popular) or $170 (Ultimate) a month.
- 3 lines: about $155, $200 or $245 a month.
- 4 lines: about $190, $250 or $310 a month.
- 5 lines: about $225, $300 or $375 a month.
- Cheapest family tier: Essentials. Lite ($50, 60 GB) is single-line only. Average cost per line on Essentials falls from $55 (2 lines) to $45 (5 lines).
- Conditions: prices are before tax, assume Rogers Internet or TV, your own phone and Auto-Pay, and apply to new activations.
- Data share: we could not confirm a pooled data feature on current 5G+ plans, so treat each line as having its own allowance until Rogers confirms otherwise.
Rogers Family Plan Prices: 2 Lines, 3 Lines, 4 Lines and 5 Lines
This table adds up the per-line prices Rogers lists for new activations. Totals are monthly, in CAD, before tax, with Rogers Internet or TV, your own phone and Auto-Pay.
| Plan | 1 line | 2 lines | 3 lines | 4 lines | 5 lines |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5G+ Essentials | $55 | $110 | $155 | $190 | $225 |
| 5G+ Popular | $70 | $140 | $200 | $250 | $300 |
| 5G+ Ultimate | $85 | $170 | $245 | $310 | $375 |
Important: these are bundle prices. They only apply if you also have Rogers Internet or TV, bring your own phone and use Auto-Pay. If you do not have Rogers home services, you will likely pay more, and Rogers does not publish a standalone mobile-only price on its plan page. Get a quote before you assume $110 for two lines applies to you.
Totals are our calculation from Rogers per-line prices. Taxes, fees, financed devices and promotions can change the amount on your bill. Confirm at checkout.
What is included in the price you see
| Price part | What we found |
|---|---|
| Standard first-line price | Before incentives, Rogers lists $80 (Lite), $85 (Essentials), $100 (Popular) and $115 (Ultimate) |
| Promotional bundled price | With Internet or TV and after Auto-Pay: $50, $55, $70 and $85 for one line |
| Auto-Pay discount | Included in the listed prices; Rogers does not separate its amount from the bundle saving on the plan page |
| Additional-line pricing | Line 2 is the same as line 1, line 3 is $10 less, and line 4 and beyond are another $10 less |
| Device financing, activation or SIM fees | Not shown on the plan page, so confirm at checkout. Financing a phone adds a monthly payment |
Per-Line Pricing and the Rogers Multi-Line Discount
Rogers does not charge a flat family rate. Each added line is cheaper than the one before it, which is why a fifth line costs far less than a first.
| Plan | Line 1 | Line 2 | Line 3 | Line 4 or more | Data |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $55 | $55 | $45 | $35 | 100 GB high-speed, then reduced speeds |
| Popular | $70 | $70 | $60 | $50 | Unlimited high-speed data |
| Ultimate | $85 | $85 | $75 | $65 | Unlimited high-speed data, priority network access |
The 5G+ Lite plan ($50 a month for one line, 60 GB) is not part of these multi-line prices. Rogers says you can add up to 10 lines to one account, and the fourth line and every line after it stay at the lowest listed rate. Rogers' own page headline mentions plans "starting at $40" on the third line, while its table shows $45 for Essentials, so use the table figures.
Average cost per line
| Plan | 2 lines | 3 lines | 4 lines | 5 lines |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5G+ Essentials | $55.00 | $51.67 | $47.50 | $45.00 |
| 5G+ Popular | $70.00 | $66.67 | $62.50 | $60.00 |
| 5G+ Ultimate | $85.00 | $81.67 | $77.50 | $75.00 |
Adding lines lowers the average sharply: on Essentials, four lines average $47.50 each and five lines average $45 each.
Example: two Essentials lines and two Popular lines
Rogers supports mix-and-match plans but does not spell out how the line discounts are allocated. If each line is priced by its position and tier, the Essentials prices are $55, $55, $45 and $35, and each Popular line costs $15 more, so two Essentials plus two Popular lines would total $220 a month, whichever lines carry which tier. Confirm this at checkout before you rely on it.
What a Rogers Family Plan Costs Over 24 Months
This is a calculation, not a required contract term. It multiplies each monthly total by 24, before tax, to show what a two-year stretch could cost if prices stay as listed.
| Plan | 1 line | 2 lines | 3 lines | 4 lines | 5 lines |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5G+ Essentials | $1,320 | $2,640 | $3,720 | $4,560 | $5,400 |
| 5G+ Popular | $1,680 | $3,360 | $4,800 | $6,000 | $7,200 |
| 5G+ Ultimate | $2,040 | $4,080 | $5,880 | $7,440 | $9,000 |
Estimated only. It excludes tax, one-time fees, device financing and any change to Rogers pricing.
Rogers Family Plan Data Share: What It Really Means
Many people search for a "Rogers family plan with data share" expecting one large pool that every line draws from. Here is what we can and cannot confirm.
- What Rogers lists: a data allowance for each plan tier: 60 GB (Lite), 100 GB (Essentials) or unlimited high-speed data (Popular and Ultimate).
- What Rogers does not describe: a shared pool across lines on the current 5G+ plan page.
- What other guides say: some third-party comparison pages describe data as shareable across lines, but their wording about per-line allowances conflicts, so we treat it as unconfirmed.
- Legacy plans: Rogers sold Share Everything plans with pooled data in the past. If you are on one, you may still have pooling, so check your account.
What "unlimited high-speed data" means: Rogers lists unlimited high-speed data on Popular and Ultimate. Lite (60 GB) and Essentials (100 GB) slow to reduced speeds after the high-speed allowance. The pages we reviewed do not state fair-use, hotspot or tethering limits, so read the plan terms if you use your phone as a hotspot.
Practical advice: if one person uses a lot of data and others use little, choose Popular for the heavy user and Essentials for light users, rather than relying on a shared pool. With unlimited high-speed data on Popular and Ultimate, pooling matters less.
Which Rogers Plan Fits Your Family?
| If your household is | Consider | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Mostly on home Wi-Fi, light mobile data | Essentials | 100 GB and the lowest per-line prices ($35 on line 4 and beyond) |
| Heavy streaming, hotspot or work use | Popular | Unlimited high-speed data at a lower price than Ultimate |
| Frequent travellers or price-lock seekers | Ultimate | Priority network access, wider roaming (64 destinations) and a reported five-year price lock |
| Mixed usage | Mix and match | Put heavy users on Popular and light users on Essentials |
Bundle, Auto-Pay and Mobile-Only Pricing
Rogers publishes its lowest prices for customers who also have Rogers Internet or TV and who pay by Auto-Pay. Before those incentives the listed plan prices are $80 (Lite), $85 (Essentials), $100 (Popular) and $115 (Ultimate) for a single line. Rogers describes bundle savings of up to $15 a month and shows a Mobile Only option without a standalone price. If you do not have Rogers Internet or TV, ask for a quote before assuming the figures in this guide apply to you.
Tip: compare the all-in cost of Rogers Internet plus mobile against your current Internet bill and mobile bill. The bundle can save money overall even if Internet alone is not the cheapest.
Rogers Family Plans and More: Add-a-Line, Kids, Perks and Roaming
Add a line
Rogers says add-a-line savings apply automatically when you sign in to add a line, and existing customers can see exclusive offers. You can add up to 10 lines to one account. Rogers prices lines for new activations when you bring your own phone, so financing a device raises the monthly total.
Kids plan
Rogers' family phone page lists unlimited talk and text plans from $30 a month after Auto-Pay, plus chatr prepaid for a child's first phone. Data, terms and eligibility sit in footnotes we could not review, so check them on Rogers.com.
Roaming and international
Essentials includes data, talk and text in the US for 24 months. Popular adds Mexico and the Caribbean for 24 months and unlimited calling to 27 countries. Ultimate covers 64 destinations. Lite is Canada only.
5-Year Price Guarantee
Rogers sources disagree on which plan has it. The plan page we reviewed shows it on Popular, while MobileSyrup's April 2026 report says the five-year lock applies to Ultimate only. The lock is described as covering the monthly price before taxes, fees and credits. Confirm the plan and terms before you choose.
If a line leaves the account
Rogers does not explain this on its plan page. If prices follow line position, dropping one line from a four-line Essentials account would cut the total from $190 to $155, but remaining lines could reprice, so ask Rogers before cancelling.
Bring your own phone or finance one
Listed prices assume your own unlocked phone. Financing through Rogers adds a monthly device payment, so compare the total cost before you buy.
Rogers vs Fido, Fizz and Koodo: When Rogers Is Not the Cheapest
Rogers' multi-line prices look strong for a bundled household, but they are not the whole market. This table shows single-line prices reported in spring 2026, bring your own phone, so you can see where a lower-cost brand may win. We could not verify the multi-line discounts for these brands, so treat the figures as a starting point and add up the real total for your number of lines.
| Provider | Plan | Monthly price per line | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rogers | 5G+ Essentials, 100 GB | $55 (1 line), $47.50 average on 4 lines | Needs Internet or TV; multi-line discounts included |
| Koodo | 60 GB / 100 GB | $45 / $55 | Single-line price; multi-line discount not verified |
| Fido | 20 GB / 60 GB | $40 / $45 | Fido does not offer Koodo's 100 GB plan at $55 |
| Fizz | 50 GB / 100 GB | $52 / $72 | Third-party figures; no family discount listed; confirm on fizz.ca |
Sources: iPhone in Canada (Fido and Koodo, April 28, 2026) and a third-party Fizz comparison page (April 2026). Prices and promotions change often. These are not like-for-like on data, networks or perks.
How to read this: a four-line household with 100 GB needs on every line pays about $190 on Rogers Essentials with a bundle. Without Rogers Internet or TV, or with light data needs, a 20 GB or 60 GB plan at Fizz, Fido, or Koodo may total less. See our guide to the best Fido cell phone plans or compare internet plans to price a Rogers bundle against alternatives.
How to Sign Up for a Rogers Family Plan

- Check your bundle. Confirm whether you have, or will add, Rogers Internet or TV.
- Pick tiers. Choose Essentials, Popular or Ultimate per line.

- Review the total. Confirm tax and fees before you confirm.
How We Researched This
We reviewed the Rogers 5G+ wireless plan page and Rogers' family phone page, a MobileSyrup report on Rogers plan changes and a third-party comparison page. Totals for 2 to 5 lines are our own sums of the per-line prices Rogers lists. Where sources conflict, such as on data sharing and mobile-only prices, we say so rather than choosing one. Prices change often, so confirm on Rogers.com before you buy.
Rogers Family Plans: Frequently Asked Questions
How much do Rogers family plans cost for 2 lines?
With Rogers Internet or TV, BYOD and Auto-Pay, two lines on Rogers 5G+ Essentials cost about $110 a month, Popular about $140 and Ultimate about $170, before tax. Rogers lists the second line at the same price as the first. Without a bundle, prices are higher and Rogers does not show them on its plan page, so confirm at checkout.
How much do Rogers family plans cost for 3, 4 and 5 lines?
With the same conditions (Internet or TV bundle, BYOD, Auto-Pay), three lines cost about $155 on Essentials, $200 on Popular and $245 on Ultimate. Four lines cost $190, $250 and $310. Five lines cost $225, $300 and $375. All figures are before tax.
Does Rogers have a family plan with shared data?
We could not confirm a pooled data feature on the current Rogers 5G+ plans. Rogers lists a data allowance for each plan tier and discounts each added line, but its plan page does not describe a shared data pool. Some third-party guides describe sharing, and legacy Share Everything customers may still have pooling, so ask Rogers before you sign up if shared data matters to you.
What is the Rogers multi-line discount?
Rogers lowers the price of each added line. On Essentials, Popular and Ultimate the third line is $10 less than the second, and the fourth line and beyond are a further $10 less, as listed on Rogers.com for new activations with your own phone. The 5G+ Lite plan is not included in these multi-line prices.
How many lines can I have on a Rogers account?
Rogers' family phone page says you can add up to 10 lines to one Rogers mobile account. The listed price for the fourth line and every line after it stays the same.
Do I need Rogers Internet or TV to get these prices?
Yes for the prices published on the Rogers plan page. Rogers shows prices that require Internet or TV service and apply after the Auto-Pay discount, and describes bundle savings of up to $15 a month. It also shows a Mobile Only option without publishing standalone prices, so ask for a quote if you do not have Rogers Internet or TV.
What is the Rogers Auto-Pay discount?
Auto-Pay is a monthly discount for paying by automatic payment. Rogers lists its plan prices after the Auto-Pay discount, so the price you see assumes you enrol. The exact amount is not broken out separately from the bundle discount on the plan page, so check the fine print at checkout.
How do I add a line to my Rogers account?
Sign in to your Rogers account (savings apply automatically when you sign in to add a line) or visit a Rogers store and choose to add a line. Existing customers can see exclusive add-a-line offers when signed in. Bring your own unlocked phone to keep the listed BYOD pricing, or finance a phone, which changes your monthly total.
Is there a Rogers family plan for kids?
Rogers' family phone page lists unlimited talk and text plans from $30 a month after the Auto-Pay discount, and also points to chatr prepaid plans for a child's first phone. The data, terms and eligibility are in footnotes we could not review, so confirm the details on Rogers.com.
Which Rogers plan is best for a family?
It depends on how much data each person uses. Essentials suits light users who mostly use Wi-Fi, Popular gives unlimited high-speed data and the 5-Year Price Guarantee for heavier users, and Ultimate adds priority network access and wider roaming. Many families mix tiers across lines.
Can I mix different Rogers plans on one account?
Yes. Rogers describes mix-and-match pricing, where each line can sit on a different tier. If each line is priced by its position and tier, two Essentials lines plus two Popular lines would total $220 a month, but Rogers does not spell out the allocation, so confirm at checkout.
Are Rogers family plans cheaper than Fido, Fizz or Koodo?
Not always. Rogers' lowest prices require Internet or TV. Without that bundle, a household may pay less with Fido, Koodo or Fizz, whose single-line prices are listed in the comparison table above. We could not verify their multi-line discounts, so add up the real total for your number of lines before choosing.
Does Rogers have a 5-year price guarantee?
Rogers materials are not consistent. The Rogers plan page we reviewed shows a 5-Year Price Guarantee on 5G+ Popular, while a MobileSyrup report on Rogers' April 2026 plan changes says the five-year price lock applies to 5G+ Ultimate only. Confirm which plan carries it, and exactly what it covers, before you choose a plan because of it.
Which is the cheapest Rogers family plan?
5G+ Essentials has the lowest multi-line prices: $110 for two lines, $155 for three, $190 for four and $225 for five, with Internet or TV, your own phone and Auto-Pay. Lite, at $50 for 60 GB, is shown as a single-line plan and is not part of the multi-line prices.
What does a Rogers family plan cost per line?
With the same conditions, Essentials averages $55 per line for 2 lines, $51.67 for 3, $47.50 for 4 and $45 for 5. Popular averages $70, $66.67, $62.50 and $60. Ultimate averages $85, $81.67, $77.50 and $75.
What does unlimited high-speed data mean on Rogers?
Rogers lists unlimited high-speed data on Popular and Ultimate, and 60 GB or 100 GB of high-speed data then unlimited at reduced speeds on Lite and Essentials. The plan pages we reviewed do not spell out fair-use, hotspot or tethering limits, so read the plan terms if you rely on hotspot data.
What happens to the price if someone leaves the account?
Rogers does not explain this on its plan page. If the multi-line price follows each line's position, removing one line from a four-line Essentials account would take the monthly total from $190 to $155, but remaining lines could reprice, so ask Rogers before you cancel a line.
